Pro Tennis Travel terms of use

1. Who we are and what this covers

Pro Tennis Travel runs on the Match Point Challenge platform, operated by Match Point Challenge Ltd, Hermitage Court, Hermitage Lane, Maidstone, UK, ME16 9NT ("we", "us"), which provides the game and holds your account. These terms apply to your account, whether you registered on Pro Tennis Travel, at matchpointchallenge.com, in the Match Point Challenge mobile app, or on another site that runs on the same platform. By creating an account you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy.

Where a site running on the platform publishes its own addendum, that addendum sits alongside these terms and cannot reduce your rights under them.

2. The game

You pick the winner of matches at professional tennis tournaments before each round closes, and you earn points when your picks are right. Points, positions, streaks and titles are calculated using the scoring rules published on the site, which we may improve from time to time. Where a rule changes, it applies from the next tournament, not to results already settled.

It is a free to play game of skill and prediction. You never stake money on a pick and we never pay out on a pick. Prizes, where offered, are described in section 7.

3. Your account

• You must be at least 18 years old. If you are under 18 you confirm that a parent or guardian agrees to you playing.
• One account per person, with a unique email address. Your account is yours alone and you are responsible for what happens on it. Keep your password private.
• Your account works on every site that runs on the platform. Your picks are yours and count in every competition you are part of, but points, positions and prizes are worked out separately inside each competition from the day you joined it.
• Screen names must not impersonate anyone, contain offensive language, or promote a product without permission. We may change a screen name that breaks this rule.
• You can delete your account at any time from your settings or by asking us. We keep only what we must for the reasons set out in the privacy policy.

4. Paid features

• Playing is free. Where paid features are offered to you directly, they are described on the subscription page at the time you buy.
• Subscriptions renew monthly or yearly until you cancel. You can cancel at any time and you keep the features until the end of the period you have paid for. We do not refund part periods unless the law requires it.
• On Android, subscriptions are sold and billed by Google Play under Google's terms, and refunds are handled through Google Play. Elsewhere we bill through Stripe.
• Prices are shown in your currency including any applicable tax. We may change prices for future periods with at least 30 days' notice by email.
• Where the organisation running your site includes paid features for its members, those features apply inside that site only and end when you leave it or that organisation's agreement with us ends.
• Founding members of Match Point Challenge hold Ultra for life on the account that received it. It cannot be transferred.

5. The Lounge and other things you post

• Be decent. No abuse, harassment, hate speech, threats, spam, or anything unlawful. No sharing of other people's personal information.
• We moderate. We may remove messages, mute, block or remove any account that breaks these rules, without notice where the breach is serious.
• You keep ownership of what you post. You give us a worldwide, royalty free licence to display it within the service and in promotion of the game, for as long as you leave it up.
• You can report a message or block a person from within the Lounge. Reports are reviewed and acted on within 24 hours, and objectionable content is removed.

6. Sites run by organisations

An organisation may run its own site on the platform for its customers, audience or staff. That organisation controls the branding, who may join, the prizes it offers and any sponsors it shows. We provide the game, hold your account and protect your data as described in the privacy policy. The organisation can remove you from its site; your account and your picks are untouched when that happens.

An organisation running a private site can see the names and email addresses of the members of its own site. An organisation running an open, community site sees screen names only.

7. Prizes

Prizes are described on the prizes page for the competition in question, with the rules for winning them. Prizes offered by an organisation or a sponsor are that organisation's or sponsor's responsibility to fulfil. Prizes have no cash alternative unless stated. Identity and eligibility may be verified before a prize is released, and a prize may be withheld where the rules were broken.

8. Sponsors and advertising

Sponsors' names, logos and links may appear on the site, in the app and in emails. A sponsor's appearance is not an endorsement of its products, and any purchase you make from a sponsor is between you and them.

9. Fair play

No bots, scripts, multiple accounts, collusion to fix positions, or exploiting a bug. If you find a bug that affects scoring, tell us. We may correct results and positions affected by a fault or by unfair play, and we may remove accounts involved.

10. Availability

We aim to keep the game available throughout every tournament, but we do not guarantee it. Match data comes from third party providers and can be late or wrong; results are corrected when the official result is known. If picks cannot be made because of a fault on our side, we may reopen picks, void a round, or settle it as fairly as we can, and our decision on the result is final.

11. Content and trade marks

The platform, its software, design and content belong to Match Point Challenge Ltd or its licensors. The branding of Pro Tennis Travel belongs to the organisation that runs it. You may use them only to play the game. Tournament and player names belong to their owners; the platform is not affiliated with or endorsed by any tour, tournament or player.

12. Ending things

You can leave at any time by deleting your account. We can suspend or close your account if you break these terms, if the law requires it, or if the game stops running, in which case we will give reasonable notice where we can and refund any prepaid subscription period we have not delivered.

13. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, the game is provided as it is, we are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable when you agreed to these terms, for losses caused by something outside our control, or for business losses, and our total liability to you in any twelve month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period.

14. Changes to these terms

When these terms change, the new version is published with a note of what changed, and you will be asked to accept it the next time you sign in. If you do not accept, you can delete your account; continuing to play means you accept the new version.

15. Law and contact

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales and disputes go to its courts, without affecting any rights you have as a consumer in the country where you live. Questions: info@matchpointchallenge.com.
